APARTMENT HOTELS
Although there are some suite options for hotels included within the other collections, the following hotels feel more like apartments, as most have kitchens (or in the least, kitchenettes), in addition to living areas.
If you want to guarantee you will have more space, or maybe you are someone who likes to start your day with breakfast at home or enjoys cooking while traveling, these are hotels to consider. These are also a good choice for people who want to stay a bit longer in Palma, and not feel like they need to eat out for every meal.

The FIL Suites & Homes tend to sell out very early. In fact, April and June were already sold out when I checked in early February. And it’s really no wonder why: they are an amazing value, especially for the quality and comfort of the suites, combined with the location, a 12 minute walk through the Old Town to the Cathedral. This would be one of the places we recommend to check first, if you want access to a kitchenette.
Located in a 13th century building that was once home to the Mallorcan textile factory, Ca’n Ribas, a careful renovation ensured that its essence remains (“fil” means thread in catalonian). With 35 comfortable units, you can choose between multiple configurations: double rooms or apartments with 1 or 2 rooms, with couches, kitchenettes and/or dining tables, plus with outdoor or enclosed patios*. There is even a small rooftop pool and sundeck area.
*Please note that the lower three tiers of units do not come with a kitchenette. With their multiple room configuration options, this is also a hotel I would ask in advance if you will get a king mattress bed, or if the bed will be two beds pushed together. The beds are very comfy, regardless - but if you have a preference and would like to see if they can accomodate your request, I would get in touch 🤍

A bit of a jump from the lowest price point for apartment hotels, the units at the Palma Suites Hotel Residence are still a good value. The kitchens are well equipped, with high quality appliances that include a dishwasher, oven, fridge + freezer, and toaster, not to mention good knives and a Nespresso coffee machine. Located in a slightly quieter area of the Old Town, it is also close to some of Palma’s more architecturally iconic buildings.
This classic building has units with large windows, traditional shutters, and small balconies. With 35 unique apartments furnished in a modern Scandinavian design, some are even set over two or three floors, with views out to Palma. There is also a rooftop terrace, with a small plunge pool.

With only 9 units, Samaritana Suites truly feels like apartment living. This Old Town apartment hotel is close to Palma Suites, and a short 4-minute stroll from Plaza Mayor. The apartments, from the studio to duplex suite, are rather large, and include a living area (in the suite, it is combined with the bedroom).
They all feature kitchens with a microwave, hotplate, toaster, smaller fridge and dishwasher, along with a kettle and Nespresso machine. There are nice Spanish touches when it comes to the decor (tiles and ceiling beams), but it feels pretty modern otherwise. There is a rooftop with sun loungers. Bike rentals are also available.
